Microllam LVL is a versatile solution that works great in in applications all over the house from window openings to garage door headers. Microllam headers and beams can be built-up on site to cut down on heavy lifting. Moreover, installation is quick with very little or no waste. The advanced manufacturing process minimizes many of the natural inconsistencies found in wood, such as knots, splits and wane. This allows Microllam to be very stable and they resist warping, splitting, shrinking and supporting heavy loads without worry.

Engineered for consistent performance, TimberStrand® Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) starts straight and stays straight. As a result, it’s one of the most innovative and versatile building products available — a suitable solution for a diverse range of applications such as tall walls, beams, rim board, sill plates and so much more. TimberStrand LSL is a green building solution as well. The manufacturing process combines technology and innovation to produce high-performing engineered lumber using small-diameter trees that are not strong or straight enough on their own to be of structural value as conventional sawn lumber products.

Weyerhaeuser TJI Joists
Trus Joist® TJI® joists are a key part of making a high-performance floor. The dimensional stability of TJI joists help them resist warping, twisting, and shrinking, which can lead to squeaky floors. TJI joists are lightweight and come in long lengths, which makes them faster and easier to install than traditional framing and saves you both time and money.
Anthony Power Beam
Power Beam® is a superior glued laminated beam and header for use where reliable engineered wood applications are required. The 3-1/2” and 5-1/2” widths readily match 2×4 and 2×6 wall framing. The Power Beam® depths also match all joist, truss, LVL, PSL, and I-joist floor or roof framing. The 7” Power Beam (2800F) is for longer spans and heavier loading. Depths go up to 28 7/8”. The Power Beam® uses only readily-available Southern Pine lumber, recognized through extensive testing as the strongest lumber resource available. The Power Beam can be used for window, door and garage door headers, floor edge and center girder beams, roof ridge beams and commercial beams and purlins. The Power Beam only uses small diameter fast-growth timber, therefore reducing pressure on our forest resources.

The beams offer easy installation and are ready to finish. Only Better Header® offers you the patented PFS Fastening System. This multi-angle, pre-fitted steel nut allows for maximum compression without compromising the structural integrity of the lumber. The PFS system, combined with grade 5 bolts, provides the ultimate strength and eliminates the need for furring… making every project a success.
